THE CREOLE INCIDENT

Democracy is being assailed by a domestic threat. The year is 1836 and the United States of America is on the verge of losing its democracy.

The Creole Incident investigates a calculated and premeditated course of action taken by a handful of radical abolitionists, in concert with certain members of Congress, that links them to the slave revolt onboard the brig Creole.
Their goal was to break the stranglehold of slavery’s Representation in Congress.
At the heart of the story is the love between a slave and is his wife and their determination to be free.
These two stories become intertwined and reach a climax when Her Majesty’s government decides the fate of those imprisoned in Nassau, Bahamas on charges of mutiny and murder. This intelligence sets in motion a series of dramatic floor fights in the United States House of Representatives as freedom and slavery battle for the future of the country.
A true historical incident that is an American story for all Americans.
